Desktop computers, handheld mobile phones, television sets, a remote-controlled car. They are all robots and they do not look like a human made of metal as we would normally imagine them. The “real robots” are created and utilized everywhere, all the time, in any shape.
As machines take over the market, those equipped with knowledge as to how computers control robots and innovate convenience out of it get a head start. Today, the more technology advances, demands for creative minds in the field of Engineering rise. College of St. John – Roxas acknowledges this very well.
On the second semester of Academic Year 2017-2018, CSJ-R in partnership with Splunkeez IT Solution – started preparing its students to excel their way through the market’s competition and earn a ticket to a bright future in Engineering industry by introducing to them Internet of Things (IOT) and Robotics.
IOT and Robotics is not Information Technology or Computer Science, neither Programming alone, nor solely Engineering. It is a combination of all. For St. John – an institution that does not offer IT courses – it is a game-changer.
This time, College of St. John – Roxas gives its STEM students the advantage of being equipped with knowledge so they are set out of Senior High School with the competence to pursue any from their now-wider varieties of possible careers.
