Grade School Unleashes ANIMO

The Animo was unleashed when the College of St. John – Roxas (CSJ-R) celebrated The Green Light is On activity to welcome its old and new students. This event was held on June 29, 2016 at the school’s covered court. The activity was held to release the Animo or the Lasallian Spirit of the school. Green flooded the covered court as all students wore their Lasallian shirts. New students were led to the covered court blindfolded, took the center stage and were given tokens for being the new members of the CSJ-R family. Everyone in the crowd clapped and cheered for them to make them feel warm, welcomed and truly accepted. Every grade level prepared for the cheers and yells contest through the guidance of their grade level homeroom advisers. To culminate the event, all students sang a community song while one by one placing their hand prints in the wall to form a big tree- a symbol of unity and oneness in achieving one common goal, to excel.
