The Family day is an annual tradition of the College of St. John community to unite all families that belong to the institution. Last September 24, 2016, the school event headed by the PTCA had the theme of “Upholding faith, compassion, and unity as One Lasallian Family“
Usually, the Family Day is a whole day celebration. However, this year, the PTCA decided to make it as a half day event starting with the Holy Mass, the street dance presentations of each teams, games (for kids, parents, and family) and ending it with the announcement of which color garnered the most points in the activities/ categories that were prepared. The results were:
CHAMPION: Yellow-Gold Team
1st Runner Up: Red Team
2nd Runner Up: Tangerine Team
3rd Runner Up: Blue Team
The evening show was entitled “A Night of Magic” featuring a world-class magician named Jeff Tam. Prior to the highlight, the Santinig Club, the Swagurlz, and the Stages Arts and Dance Studio showcased different genres of dances. It was indeed a mind challenging, eye catching, and entertaining night.
Thank you to all the people who were part of the success of this year’s family day! ANIMO!
